Loving Hands Ranch Scholarship Application

Loving Hands Ranch is a non-profit Christian summer camp for the Deaf , Hard of Hearing, and CODA communities. We rely on camp registration and donors to make camp possible each year. Over 50% of last year's campers requested some sort of assistance. Due to the increased cost of camp, scholarships will be awarded on an as needs basis. Families are encouraged to participate in the listed fundraisers and/or make a partial payment if possible (in any amount). Also please ask your local church if they could assist with paying for camp. Filling out an application does NOT mean a scholarship is automatically granted. You will be contacted about the status of your application and amount of funds granted prior to camp. We hope you understand our need for requiring this new process. We hope to be able to have amazing summer experiences with LHR for many years to come and this is one way to help ensure the longevity of this ministry. Thank you.

LHR is a nonprofit organization, all staff are unpaid volunteers and we rely solely on donations and registration to fund camp. If you are in need of a scholarship we hope you will participate in one of the below options to raise funds to send your child to camp.

Would you be willing to participate in any of the following options. If you select any of the options below, you will be contacted with further information.

LHR Organized Fundraiser (Sell any of the 8 products through an online portal, like thank you card boxes, to friends, family, and coworkers)

Asking for donations from your local community (Church, Family Members, Charity Organizations, etc.)

Weekly Payment Plan - For example if you paid $10 a week starting April 1st that would cover half of your child's camp costs! (We will reach out to you to setup an amount and timeline.)

A Fill a Calendar fundraiser - is a peer-to-peer campaign where participants get donors to sponsor days of the month, donating an amount matching the date (e.g., $15 for the 15th). Participants aim to fill a 31-day calendar, potentially raising nearly $500 per person. Donors sign their name on the day they claim. This will pay for your child plus snack bar and additional camp costs!

LHR Raffle ($10 per ticket, so 20 raffle tickets would cover a camper)
